its been a while since i have written, and well ...school has a tendency to take over my life. With all of that being said....My mood right now is peace. In light of all the violence that we have been inflicted with over the past couple of days....I still feel peace. I find this peace in my time and space where I can be alone with my thoughts and my God. It comforts me to think that these people who we have loved and lost are all with our God. That they have found peace in there suffering, what troubles me is the suffering of the many that have been injured. Not just physically, but emotionally. The students, faculty, and staff at Virginia Tech all have much grieving to make it through. As a nation we watch from a far as those we don't know deal with tragedy and lost. We watch as the media overloads us with images of violence and fear. It will be difficult, it will be long, and it will change the way many think about there day to day lives.
if we are to learn anything from this, is to heed the warning signs, pay attention to those who give cries for help. Express love and thankfulness to all that you meet. And above all, share your love to those in your family and friends. we all know that time is precious and that we are not in control, so give to God was is his, take nothing as yours to have, may it all be for his glory and his kingdom. Amen
